The Details!

I was so excited to get the video up last night, that I forgot to give you guys the specifics. Thankfully Leigh Ann pointed it out to me! I'm nine weeks along today! The due date is going to be July 13th! We are counting down the days!

In Other News...

Tomorrow is my first doctor's appointment. We get our first baby pictures! I promise to do a post. We are really excited. Please pray for everything to go well for us!

I've also heard that I have a cousin and uncle that keep coming to Tuscaloosa and not letting me know that they are in town. You know who you are!

Girls Night...

Okay. So, girls night was really a couple of weeks ago, but you know I'm behind.....

And they're off....

David, Wayde, and Patrick left earlier today. The went on a "guys" only camping trip. David has been so excited. He, Patrick, and Wayde have been calling each other all week to make plans. It has been fun to watch David be so excited. He really needed some guy time.

So, while he is having a guy's weekend, we are having a girl's weekend. Tara and Kristi came to stay with me. We are going to all fired up tonight. It's going to be a fun weekend.

WOW....

It has been incredably busy around here! I'm not sure where to start, so I'll start somewhere near our last post.

October 24th was David's birthday. He turned 33. His parents came up to visit for his birthday. While they were here they helped us replace our back door. Our new back door looks awesome. No, I don't have any pictures tonight, but I will try to get some up soon!

The day after David's birthday, I had to get up bright and early. I went to Phoenix, AZ. I've never been this far away, and David and I have never been that far apart. While I really enjoyed the trip, I still just wanted to be home with my hubby! I went to Phoenix for the SILA convention. This was on insurance licensing, so it was work! I actually learned a lot. Also, since I went on this trip all by my self, I realized that I can do things on my own. I hate going places by my self. I even hate sleeping alone. I always tell David that I did not get married to sleep alone! (He likes to stay up late, and I need tons of beauty rest!) Anyway, I was in Phoenix from October 25 to October 28.

I went to work the next day which was a Thursday. Then, I only worked half a day on Friday. We went to Thomasville to help Dad and Tami with a haunted hayride for their church. This was lots of fun, but lots of work! I came back pooped and David came back with a hurt ankle. The gorrila suit was just to much for him!

Last weekend Tyler and his girlfriend, Brianna, came to stay with us. We had lots of fun with them, but they wore us out. We even went to the quad for gameday.

And now for the best news. Last Wednesday, David and I found out that we are expecting our first baby. Yes, it is still really early, but I'm not good at keeping a secret. We are way to excited! We think we are about six weeks along, but I have not been to the doctor yet. I go to my first doctors appointment on December 7th! We get our first ultrasound then too! I went yesterday to a class on being pregnant. This is something that my doctor's office makes everyone do before they come in to meet with the doctor. This class was interesting to say the least. I plan to keep everyone posted on the new baby, but as you can tell, I haven't been to good at posting lately! You'll have to keep on me!

David and I are both off of work tomorrow. David gets to Veterens Day off at his work, and I took off to be at home with him. We both really need some down time right about now. I'm really looking forward to tommorrow. Well, except for the part where I have to take Daisy and Spunky to the vet. This is a once a year trip and it always ends up costing an arm and four legs!

Lazy Sunday

David and I are having a lazy Sunday. It has been really busy around here lately, and we have been able to take a well needed break this weekend. David and I woke up around 10 this morning, and we cooked breakfast. It was the traditional "Dixon" breakfast, Tomato Gravy and biscuits.

David also cooked some bacon for us. Daisy made sure to keep the floor clean from any stray bacon grease.

Last Sunday, we went to Thomasville. Dad has tons of new calves. They are so cute!

Where have we been?

Right here. It has just been a little busy lately, so no time to post. I promise I will do better. I know you have heard that one before! We'll see how it goes!

Home Sweet Home!

We made it home yesterday! Our trip was awesome. Disney was lots of fun, but we are really glad to be back home.

Here are some pictures from our trip!

This is the "Magical Express" that took us to our hotel.

And the entrance to the Magic Kingdom.

And of course, Cinderella's Castle.

I managed to get David on the "It's a Small World Ride". As you can tell, he did not enjoy it!

He did like the Tea Cups!

Here are some pictures from the "Hoop De Hoop Musical Review".

Here are some pictures from Hollywood Studios.

Here are some pictures from the "Spirit of Aloha" Dinner.

Of course, no trip to Disney is complete without "Chef Mickey"!

Here are some pictures from the Animal Kingdom.

David's favorite place at Disney was the Lego store! Go figure!

Daisy is back at home with us too. She had a great time with Mom and Harry! They spoiled her!
