Today started out early this morning. David had a doctor's appointment at 7:30 this morning. He went to get his (I think this is what it is called) rib subluxation fixed. Basically his rib had slipped out of place. The doctor that did the "manipulation" on David was a lot of fun. It was so funny to watch the doctor fix his rib. It is all better now, and David says he feels like a new man.
Also, David's sister Christy is about to have their fourth child at any minute. Please pray for them!

The weekend is over...
David and I slept late this morning. This is the first day that I have been able to sleep in about a month. I really enjoyed it! I got up this morning and gave Daisy a bath. Then next, it was time for the car to get a bath.
Daisy was happy about getting the bath. She really thought she needed one.
David was not too happy about washing the car. Could it have been the fact that I was taking pictures and he was doing all the work washing the car?
I cleaned the house after we were done washing the car. Then we went to see Harry Potter. As you can see David was overjoyed about seeing Harry Potter. When we got back from the movies, I cleaned the floors in the house. Whew. I'm not sure who's bright idea it was to put carpet on our stairs, but I would like to have a talk with them!

Wedding....Sorority Style!
Today I had to go to a wedding. It was for my sorority sister, Betsy Jacobs-well, Porter now! It was a fun day. Check out the picture above. Betsy is in the middle, of course, along with all the sisters that showed up. Before taking a sorority picture, someone usually announces "Sorority Pose". This is the pose above. I just always think that this is funny!
Here are some more pictures from Betsy's wedding today!
I also have a funny story about the way home from the wedding. I rode with another one of my sisters named Erika. I dropped her off at the Gallariea and headed back to Tuscaloosa. I happened to find a radio station on the way home that was only playing Christmas Music. My sister and I have always loved Christmas Music, so I was listening and singing really loudly, when the car next to me started to honk the horn. It was Arianne Crow. She had also attended the wedding. It was just really funny at the time! She busted me singing!

My Poor Tomato Plant...
I got home tonight and my tomato plant was blown over. It was laying on the ground. The pot for the plant broke when it fell over.
My wonder full husband had to plant the plant in the ground for me!

Weekend Update!
This weekend was really busy. I went to Livingston on Saturday. My sorority had a work weekend for the alums. We painted signs and did stuff like that. I'm so glad I don't have to paint signs any more. Of course, I forgot my camera. So no pictures.
On Sunday, David and I met Tara and Kristin in Birmingham. We had to pick up Tara's computer so that David could fix it. So, we decided to make a day of it! We met at the Summit and ate lunch at PF Chang's. David and I had never been and it was lots of fun. Then, there was lots of shopping (or looking.) Then, we stopped by Cheesecake Factory on the way out. David said he could not go by a place called the Cheesecake Factory and not get him some cheesecake. (I think their will be more trips to the Cheesecake Factory if David gets his way!)
Here are some pics.

Today was a busy day. I had to go to the dentist. They did not log my appointment in the system when they gave me the appointment card. They tried to tell me that I did not have an appointment today, but luckily I had my appointment card in my purse with me. I whipped it out and said "yes, I do." Then, they decided to work me in. I had a filling that needed to be fixed. Apparently, you need laughing gas to get a filling fixed. I have not had laughing gas since I was a child.
We also FINALLY got our downstairs air conditioner fixed! It is awesome.

Lazy, Lazy, Lazy
Okay. So, I'm being lazy tonight. I was not able to clean the house over the weekend. When I don't get to clean, it really throws off my week. I need to get up and clean the house, but I just can't make myself do it. I'm a little OCD, and I know if I start tonight and don't finish it completely, then I will need to do the same things the next night. For example, I always start cleaning the house in the kitchen, then I move to the downstairs bathroom, then the living room, then the dining room, then everything upstairs. After I get all the cleaning done, I vaccum, sweep, and mop both floors. So back to what I was saying, if I were to clean the kitchen and downstairs bath tonight and quit, then the next night I would still start with the kitchen and downstairs bath eventhough I just cleaned them the night before. That is why I can't ever get the whole house clean if I don't have a Saturday to do it. Does this run in my family or is it just me? I think it is just me.

In Trouble?
I'm in trouble. Christy officially got on to me this afternoon. Aparently, I'm not posting enough blogs. This is me trying to do better...
I don't have any pictures. I've got to find that stinking camera.
David and I had a great weekend. We went to Thomasville again. I had a couple of showers to go to over the weekend. They were lots of fun! We had a birthday lunch for Dad. It was yummie. We also went to the movies to see Transformers 2 for the second time. We went with Tyler and Brianna to the Thomasville Theater. Doesn't that bring back memories. It did for me. However, now that I am older, their seats are so uncomfortable.
I took David to the doctor's office this morning. His back has been hurting him for some time. I took him to see Dr. Buettner, and he was really great. Aparently, David has a rib out of place in his back. He has to go back on July 28th to get it "manipulated". What ever that means. He also has some arthritis in his lower back from his motorcycle wreck. He also informed us that David is not allowed to run. He has been trying to get back into this to get some weight off, but he has now been told no running what so ever. David is really sad about this. He ran a lot before his motorcyle wreck, and he really loved it. He also told us that David's hip will need to be replaced one day. He said that it will be a while before he will need to have this done, but it will need to be done. He wants to go as long as possible on the hip that David had fixed, but it will have to be replaced at some point. Please pray that this will be a really long time off.
Also, I have been out of the blogging world for so long that it was Aunt Naomi who had to tell me that Donna has a blog now. Nick is the only cousin without one now. Does anyone know how to get him to start one?

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Today is my Daddy's Birthday! He is officially 72. HeHe. I'm going to get in trouble for that one. I hope your birthday has been great.
I need to catch everyone up on things. So, here goes!
These are pictures from the other night when David got home from work.
Yes, my dog is a little begger.
She does this every time we eat. Take note that her food bowl is right there.
This is David's silly cat.
On the Fourth of July, since David ended up not having to work, he wanted to drive down to his Grandparents house. His Grandparents live near Paxton, FL, so it was a long ride. It was well worth the trip. We had a great time! For some reason, I took my camera, but did not take any pictures. Sorry.
When we went to leave. His Grandparents loaded us up. Drinks, food, jelly, and plants. We got all kinds of goodies!
Here are some pictures of the plants that David's Grandmother gave us.
These are shoots from her Century Plants. They get huge. Her plant was taller than me. It only blooms like every 10 to 15 years. It will have a huge 30 to 40 foot bloom. It will probably never bloom for me! I think they are neat though.
Here is a picture of my first bell pepper. This plant has been growing forever, but this is the first pepper. I can't wait! I had my first tomato tonight and it was so yummie!

Working...
So, it is going to be a short post tonight. I have work to do....this TV watching sure is hard. HeHe
David is actually still at work. :( He has never had to work this late, but a business that his company services is moving buildings. This means that David's company has to move all their computers and set them up. Yuck.

Nielsen Ratings!
David and I have been chosen to watch TV. Finally, all the years of practice is paying off. Literally.
David and I were asked by Nielsen to monitor the shows we watch on TV and send it in to Nielsen. Our packet to do this came in the mail today.
This is the packet we received.
And it's contents.
The best part about doing this is that they sent me $30.00 to do write down what I watch on TV. I'm getting paid to watch TV.
I was a little confused that they sent cash and not a check. It makes it harder for the cash to make it to the bank.
I'll keep you posted on how it goes over the next week.
